Small marginal difference in steer tube diameter made it impossible to go onto my 1 1/8 steerer carbon tube. Only way to get it on is to force it with a mallet and even then because it is on so tight it can’t get proper headset tightness. The seller required caliper measurements and would not accept any other proof, I do not own a caliper nor wanted to purchase one just for the sake of proving a small design imperfection. Literally would not fit a fork it was designed to fit. I get that it’s their word over mine but figured better customer service or resolution.
