Over ten weeks of waiting (ordered it before shopping season began), aluminum is very thin and it came a bit bent on one side so it doesn't close fully. Tried to bend it the other way and managed to achieve near full closure of the pencil box. Still, a very long wait for a costly item that is cheaper in quality than it seems. It would serve to hold my pens, but I wouldn't recommend it, sorry :-(
