The product description was accurate and I'm happy to report the pen did come with a converter. The pen looks and feels great and the nib is very smooth for a fine tip pen. That said, the ink flow isn't very reliable. I've tried a few different inks so far including Noodlers, J. Herbin, and Sailor and while it writes most of the time, there is frequently some very thin lines and occasionally skipped lines while writing. It doesn't like writing on any paper that is smooth including Rhodia or even sticky notes. Perhaps the ink is not reaching the tip of the pen and thus not grabbing smoother paper. I have other fine nibbed pens that don't do this.
