Overall happy with the purchase. I do recommend to anyone who needs a replacement keyboard. Key strokes seem fine. Back lighting is faulty. The light in the middle of the keyboard is dim and not well spread over the keyboard as in the original. The CAPS LOCK key has a different light than rest of the keyboard. Big issue there.

The keyboard looked identical to the G5-5587 keyboard. After installing it does work, with backlightning and all. The only issue is that de down arrow key is slightly mushier than other keys.
