When I restored my childhood GBA with the Emerald shell, I was really excited, but then I left it on my shelf for a little over a month, to open it up and see a crack (Or seemingly chipping paint) across the bottom of the inner shell, as well as a smaller crack on the top of the shell, but that one is less noticed it is really disappointing since I barely used the GBA with the new shell (Not having many games and all until now.). I do hope future revisions of this shell has proper plastic instead of a painted over shell, and actually lasts on staying on a shelf.
