The item arrived within an acceptable period taking into account COVID-19 influence. It was safely packaged into a thick bubble wrap, all parts are intact. As some other reviewers mentioned, all parts are covered with a protective film and some of those are transparent films. Removing those films is the biggest piece of work during the assembly. The visual instruction is pretty detailed, but some additional explanations could be helpful. For example, I am still not sure how exactly the well should be constructed - does the big blue sponge go inside of the glass container as a cork? The red "doors" are coming in so tightly it requires a lot of patience and precision to get them in places. All in all I am happy with the product so far. Impressed with the precision of the cut. Placed my ant in test tube into arena, but they are shy to move into the chamber yet. Will see how it goes. Also, a big thanks for some spare parts (additional bolts and nuts and etc provided).
