First and most important: they are not compatible with the common electronic power supplies, used for the standard lights. The flicker and do not work.So this is not a one to one replacement if you have standard lights (non-led). Second I ordered the 12W model, but indeed they contain 2b5c COB leds, that are rated for 5W, thus it is not possible to reach the stated power at all. In fact, tested with a lab power supply they got the max power at 17V and 300-350mAh which correspond to approx. 5W. I asked the seller whether he could have suggested a suitable dimmable led driver to purchase and he did not reply neither.
I tried those led spots cause the description said the beam angle was 120. When I plugged it as a replacement for a standard halogen spot with an angle of 36 degrees, I didn’t see any improvement. I’m very disappointed so I won’t come back to this seller. Hopefully I bought only 2 for a trial and not the 20 that I sould have buy to replace all my old halogen spots.
