If your hernia is located low in the crotch area, near the genital, then this hernia belt is probably not for you. Similar to many hernia belt models on the market, this hernia belt is NOT meant to be worn low in the crotch area because it will hurt your upper thighs when you sit down for awhile. The length around the body is ok but the surface at the crotch is too large and irritates the skin at the hip joints (I ordered a Medium size). Not recommended.
