Perfectly fine. The item is very cheap, and on unpacking, I was not surprised or disappointed that it looked and felt 'cheap'. A trial indoors was slightly less than impressive. However, I went fishing today and tried it out. It is fine. It works, and is a bargain for the price. One small worry. It takes a 9 volt PP3/6F22 battery. The compartment is very snug. I had to unwrap the plastic from a battery to get it in and close the compartment.
