I was surprised. the scale seems suprisingly well-made and seems to be working. I have to yet try use calibrated weights to verify the precision, but I expect it to be okay for the general kitchen/coffee brewing use.

Scales work as advised, although the timer is manually operated. I'd love an automatic mode, ie zero the weight and as my coffee pours and weight changes timer should start automatically.. That would be awesome!. The scales accuracy is ok, it does measure slightly differently based on where you place the item to be weighed. Temperature probe is a little slow to respond, ie Heating milk with my steam wand is too fast for it to keep up, Stop heating at 54 degrees and its 60 once teh probe catches up.
