The lighter is not as sturdy as it looks in the picture, it has a far more fragile feel to it. It is a lighter for a woman more I feel, but as gentleman on a more formal night out, it could pass. It has places on the lighter for engraving initialls, but they have engraved the Mr Smoke in these areas so you can't use them. This is why it can only just pass for some formal occassion uses. The petrol/oil version is far nicer to use/look at.
