The quality is very average. The plastic is not all one piece, which you would expect, but the finishing along the seal is very poor quality and ugly. It is just a gas can, but for the price you'd think it wouldn't be that bad. The connector for mounting it is not the best either - I had to reconfigure it and adapt it to make it work. When it's locked in place, it rattles.
