For anybody who isn't aware this is supposedly a clone of the Xotic BB preamp. I can't say how close the B-Box resembles the Xotic model as I have never played through one but I can say that this is an excellent low to mid gain overdrive that fitted in well on my pedalboard between a Tubescreamer and a high gain pedal, (think 'Riot' clone). The controls are very responsive with the exception of the Gain knob which reaches max drive at about 1 o'clock and does little after that but frankly, there is enough at that point to satisfy me. There are quite a few demo's on Youtube to get an idea of what it can do and it does it very well indeed. The item was delivered to the UK in 19 days and given that covered the Christmas period and with the current Covid crisis I thought that was excellent service, it was also well packed. All things considered, the service and value for money is excellent and a big 'thumbs-up' to Well Music Store' for an excellent deal. Recommended.
