Note the lamp is made of plastic and not glass or metal as outlined in the description. There is a line from the plastic in the middle of the plastic where the two halves either joined, or the mould joined.

The lamp has a stripe around that you dont see in the picture. Not sure if it Will show when it is lit. Its heavy and feels like a quality lamp.
