I received a defective T12-K tip: the display of the soldering station went from "error" to showing a rising temperature, and each half a second it showed error it beeped too (noisy). The error was caused by the defective tip: the soldering station measures the tip temperature each second, but since the tip was defective it gave "error" and beeped too. I suggest to buy other spare tips to try in case you receive a faulty tip too. I used a different T12 tip from another seller and the soldering station worked just fine.
