Well, The product finally arrived to my hands in Colombia / South America after 79 days in transit and 80 days from the buy. I have even opened already a dispute, and as you can see the transport time is absolutely terrible. The product has come good enought packed and looks really good. The USB Cable looks as thick as a network wire, is not thin like any other USB Cable. The cable conector SATA to 6 Pin looks good but thin, enought quality. I will try to use this device for something diferent to mining, in facto i will try to use it as an external GPU adapter for a laptop...I don't expect to have any succes, but i'll try it the next week. You can check the images and unboxing video in the next link, just copy it and delete the space i've added behind every "/" symbol, then paste it into your web browser. https: / /drive.google.com /drive /folders /1sQooz2QRw00OfY_dsfLrbK07ocHr5Jti?usp=sharing
Well, this went far better than expected. I finally used it as an EGPU adapter... I did put on this riser a RX470 XFX, and connected it inside the laptop's WiFi Mini PCIE port. My PC Characteristics are Asus X452CP 8Gb Ram SODIMM 1333Mhz, CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3217U @ 1.80Ghz, Internal Graphics Radeon HD8530M 1Gb (with R5 M240 Driver). I didn´t even need to make any configuration, the PC did detect instantly the Graphic card. There is any kind of limitation, becaue I can only run GTA V at 1440x900 20 / 30 fps in Max Graphics, bu when i try to put 1080p the generic power supply turns off (looks like can't give enought power to the RX470), same happens with "The Witcher 3" and gaming Battlefield 4 at 1080p this also happened once. "Horizon Zero Dawn" went bad, i can only play it on 900p at the minimun and with 20fps barely ... what a terrible port. I still don't have clear if RX470 is at its maximun, because i have seen 100% of usage on it and the CPU at 90-100%. No bottleneck?.
