The two knives that come with it are shit knives made from low carbon content shit steel, the kind that moves with a hit of a hammer at room temperature. I mean, this isn't a sickle or some farming tool that you would sharpen with a hammer, come on. Get better blades. The tool itself is some kind of cast metal so it will probably hold. But the knife adjustment bolts came bent, and look like the same kind of steel that went into the blades; that is to say – shit steel. The whole thing is wobbly and I don't think that I could tinker with it to fix it so that it works in any decent manner. No amount of tinkering will do, I don't think. This is just a shit product. Got my money's worth, I guess. No hard feelings for the seller, from looking around I can tell that this is the cheapest piece of shit planer that one can buy. Buying this has taught me that I want to pay more for a proper decent tool that actually works.
