works OK, can record 1280x720 and 640x480, record quality is surprisingly good. it can only record 30fps, and when you use tv output while recording the output is laggy. it comes with DIY cable, which is okay but if you just want to use it with RCA cables then the cable that it cames with is impossibly short to make it such, and its really finicky with other cables, which effect image and audio quality a lot, probably my shitty cable. the menu is annoying to navigate and the buttons are super tiny. on bonus side it de-interlaces output video properly, so thats something I guess. So it does work, and it can record good quality video and audio, but you just need proper, good quality cables for it.
