Don't get it for UV-5R it can damage it ! The voltage is TOO high
Be careful, the charger cannot be used for trucks (24V) and is not safe to use without destroying the charger even in normal cars (12V). It is a standard direct power pass-through (directly wired) so, the output voltage is too high (around 13V). and Baofeng UV-5R charger input should be only 9 to 10V. The seller does not communicate about this problem for over 10 days. I did not open the dispute because I will use the cable with 9V regulator circuit to protect the Baofeng UV-5R radio charger. I cannot recommend this cable nor the seller due to inaccurate item title, item description and seller communication issues.
!!! I NEED TO APOLOGIZE !!! This seller communicates well - I was mistaken by the same item from another seller. We did not come to an agreement, yet but my rating was lower than it should have been. The cable cannot be used for safe charging of the Baofeng UV-5R radio but the seller is good and communicates well in English.
