The design of this unit looks great to experiment with, but won't easily mount in an enclosure.

Hello. I like this MIDI interface, thank you! It seems to be a clone of SparkFun MIDI breakout (BOB-09598). It works flawlessly when I want to send notes and I hear those on my Casio Privia. (I wish I had an example to receive notes, so far I see some info being received, but I will have to do more debugging, since Arduino MIDI library is not parsing those properly.) In any case, I am satisfied with this shield and I will do more digging. :-)
