The AM transmitter works but it is based on a poor design. The carrier is not a sine wave as it should be. The tuning capacitor and modulation potmeter do not even have a simple knob. The manual is in poor english. But what can you expect for that price?

There is a detailed multi page description how to build it included in the kit! In Chinese and English. So building the kit is a piece of cake.
