it works, did a quick test using Gossen Sixtomat flash meter. Guide number is rather 11 than 14(m). See test results below (flash setting vs metered value at ISO 100, 1 meter from flash unit) 1/128 - f/1.4+0.3 1/64 - f/2.0+0.7 1/32 - f/2.8+0.4 1/16 - f/4.0+0.2 1/8 - f/5.6+0 1/4 - f/5.6+0.9 1/2 - f/8+0.5 1/1 - f/11+0.1
