I have put the 6wt line on a 5/6 wt rod and it casts nicely but not yet taken to the river. I'm very happy with it and very cheap. My last line was a Rio Gold $180 this line is a knock off of it at $25. At the moment they look and feel pretty much the same. The 5wt Grand line i bought to try and get more line speed in a head wind on my 5wt sage method with it's more shooting tapered design. I haven't tried it yet but now am expecting good things. Thank you to the seller.
