Works exceptionally well. I didn’t expected to support 500MB/s for each SATA ports (and it doesn’t) but good enough for software RAID 6 of SATA3 7200 HDD. (At least 200MB/s for r/w.) It even support for boot disk. Socket 775 (G41) board with L5420 and H61 board with 1225V2 both supported booting disk with this. This card emits quite amount of heat. Decent case cooling would be required for reliability, I believe.
Just realised that it doesn’t support SMART. Bummer.
