for those who are skeptical, it is leather. i did a fire test in an inconspicuous place. instead of getting a hole, it just shrinks like leather... (except that is a fireproof plastic, but I don't think so) also it is pretty heavy I am 1.70 and about 60 kg L fits well, but in some places too wide for my taste. the pockets are big and deep, so you can fit more than just your hands in them
