My version is made from Carbon - hard and solid tripod with unique feature of horizontal shooting. Package is VERY good and solid, nothing is damaged. You should not that in my version there is no soft black ring around place where you put camera in center pod despite it is shown on photos. I recommend the seller, shop and item - Manfrotto got a rival!
