wrong threaded end of adapter, thread crushed, could be corrected with a tiny file

Received but the M14 Male thread is a little course and is difficult to fit fully into M14 female backing plate. The M14 female accepts fitting OK. Just reluctant to twist harder on in case I shread the M14 female on more expensive pad bases. Perhaps just mine but workmanship lets this down.
