its a lovely amp with some flaw, i read up all about it and was prepared. once you get past all these flaws, you will start to appreciate its beauty. 1/4 inch output is flopped. go for BaL, intial impression was ok but due to the xlr in cable, i was getting harsh mids. Swap a diy xlr interconnect and it was ok with a nice hint of warmth in mids. swapped out the stock tubes to slyvania jan 5670 matched pairs and this machine turned into a beast. note the amp is tubed limited, dont go swapping high ends tubes eg. WE 396a. The sound wont get any better
Great tube amplifier. Nice looking and the sound is amazing! I connect it as lamp preamplifier with DAC to receiver. Not tested with balance input/output, but allready bass and treble sonds great. The fastest delivery ever - Only in 4 days! Recomend Loxjie!
