The soles were arched inwards like a frowning face. it looks like the seller forced-fit a narrower sole onto a wider upper causing the sole to fold inwards. Although the upper was made well, seeing a sole like this is annoying especially if the seller tries to get away with it by saying ALL newly made shoes have inwardly curved soles. This is my 4th custom-made shoes and this is the first time I saw something like this. The seller is trying to pull my leg into accepting the twisted fact that ALL newly made shoes have soles like this and it will eventually flatten in the future. Yeah right! and the stitches will also loosen enough to sacrifice the durability of the shoes. I asked him to send me pictures his advertised shoes with inwardly curved soles like mine but he could not show me one. He dared me to return the shoes at my expense, so I will spend an extra USD30-40 for their error. My custom-made shoes group and my local cobblers, all agree that soles should be FLAT! Not curved.
The color is real honey, it's not green, it's not brown. Really beautiful color like honey. The quality of the leather looks very good, we will see in a few weeks. The workmanship is very good. The seller is fine, the communication is first class. The size recommended to me and everything is fine. I am very satisfied. Shipping takes a really long time, but I don't think the seller wants that.
