Arrived dead, one of the trim pots that provides the pH offset was dead and just offered 0 Ohms resistance regardless of adjustment so it reports pH 7 no matter what. Probably an easy repair but one I would rather not have to do on a new item. The temp feature also does not work - from reading around this appear to be a design fault affecting all these boards, in my case I have a separate temp probe so not an issue but still - not the best board even when it is working. No resolution offered by the supplier.
