They did have a strong smell of glue when I opened them, but it faded pretty quickly. Good quality for the price, but they do run a tad small. I usually wear a 40 and bought a 41. They fit slightly snug with socks, but are not uncomfortably tight. Happy with these, thanks!
I've been wearing them all day and I have to say they have stretched a little and are much more comfortable now. The salt cleaned off them nicely too with just a damp cloth. I have narrow feet and these actually fit super well, unlike a lot of other more expensive lolita shoes I have -- they don't move around on my feet and the straps fit well. I hope they last because I'm considering buying them in another color.
