There is no problem to attach to LEGACY (BP). This product supports the rear hatch firmly. Initially, a product that does not fit LEGACY arrived. However, we received a conforming product at the store's sincere support. This store provides support to the end so you can feel safe.

Fit my 2008 Subaru Outback (Japanese import) perfectly. Just need a Philips head screwdriver, a helper (preferably), and about 30 minutes of time. Rear gate finally stays open--very satisfied, and at less than half the cost of local auto parts store.
