For those wondering, it does work with Sennheiser g3 transmitter. build is almost exactly the same. menu is frequency tuning only, of 4 blocks and 12 channels per block, you only see the frequency once you select the actual block and channel, so I'd recommend writing them all out for fast easy tuning. headphone level output does seem a touch low, haven't used it in real world yet, just my suspicion from testing at home.
