Very nice controller. Has some problem pairing with the apps though. In Direct mode, it will sooner or later work. But in AP mode, it's a pain. In auto mode, even with dedicated 2.4ghz ssid and network, never worked. On manual mode, problem is at one step, they tell you to switch back to your network (you're connected directly to it first) but when you do that, you have to go to settings. They also tell you not to quit the app. What happen is the app froze and I can't click continue! Tried on 3 different Android phone. Here's the fix: Follow the instruction to make the pairing but, at the auto/manual screen, switch now to the right network, not when it says that you can now connect to your network. This will make you continue the pairing and make it work. Another thing, and that's more my error, it's not an ESP8266 chip so you won't be able to flash Tasmota, which was my main idea. And there's no way to hook this to openhab or home assistant.
