The dimmer with the remote work quite well so far (2 monts usage). I have only put max 1.5A through the dimmer so far, so I cannot say if the power rating is correct or not. The signal from the remote is not always received by the dimmer, even though the battery is new and the remote is basically right next to the dimmer. This is not a big issue though. Be advised that the remote does not come with a battery, and the type that is needed (V27A) will set you back another 2-5€ (in central europe).
