Pretty compact flashlight. The light is not very bright (one cannot expect more for the price and small size) but it is quite acceptable. This flashlight has a head which can focus by pulling it. That works very well (excellent for such a small and cheap lamp) - the spot beam is absolutely sharp (you can see the LED shape very exactly) and the wide beam has a uniform light distribution (although now the LED power is spread out and therefore weaker). The only thing to note is that you need a new and full 1.5V (or more) AA battery to use this flashlight. I tested a used 1.4V battery and the lamp did not work. That means it will also not work with rechargeable (normally only 1.2V) batteries. Not a bad item.
