This is a relatively small flashlight, that works on a 18650 battery, but the battery can't be charged in the flashlight. Also, the battery is put in in reverse - the spring to the plus, not the minus. The strobe feature is from the side light, not the head of the flashlight. The light emitted isn't that strong, so if you are looking for a powerful flashlight, this isn't the one.
