It has been tried and can work, For the receiver sensor, when it is read using Arduino analogRead() it will read values ranging from 107 to 109 , so if used as digitalRead(), it will always read the LOW condition. analogRead() it will read values ranging from 107 to 109 (when the sensor doesn't capture light). when the sensor captures light, the reading becomes 0 I do not know whether this is the way the sensor works, or the sensor has a problem.
