GENERAL IMPRESSION – Decent budget knife. FUNCTIONALITY – The knife is more Gyuto style than European Chef. The ergonomics is good. The knife is balanced on the bolster and allows a variety of grips and cutting styles. The handle is comfortable. CRAFTSMANSHIP – It is definitely not a premium quality knife (as written on the box) but a decent budget one. The steel is of decent quality and came well sharpened. The knife needs some smoothing on the edges to feel really comfortable, but it can be easily done with fine sandpaper. PRICE TO QUALITY RATIO – Worth buying when on sale for less than $20 but no more than that.
