Even should be compatible with T430, it isn't. I had to remove, plastic cover to by able replace DVD mechanic. But disk is not visible to the system anyway. Due low price I have not returned goods. It seems that they bay replacement are kind of lottery.

In the product description is clearly mentioned the compatibility with IBM Lenovo T430 but the product is not fitting to this model
