lens looks massive with my next but makes great photos- bright and sharp, with a bit of chromatic abberwtion when set to maximum brightness. I attach two photos- one made with this lens and one with sony 50mm f1.8. you can see how much brighter this lens is.

For the price, this lens is fantastic. Its huge aperture makes low-light shooting easier and the rings turn smoothly for easy focusing and aperture changes. The zones that are in focus are much sharper than one would expect from a 1.1 lens at this price!
