The eye cup has fit perfectly on my Sony NEX 6 and it is firmly in place. It does not come off easily. The internal frame of the eye cup is made of a hard plastic and the edges are made of malleable rubber, which feels comfortable when I used it. It seems to be as good as the original that came with my camera. I am very satisfied with this product!!!
