material seems to be ok and the shirt fits well (1,78cm, 79kg and ordered an XL, or L for US) The stitching however doesn;t seem to be of high quality. Bunch of loose threads hanging out. But as long as it protects me from the sun when I'm fishing it's fine

Quality wise you get what you pay for. The hoodie is light but quite warm. There’s no mention about UV protection or about any SPF fabric certification. I do doubt that the fabric has one. I’m usually M size (175 cm, 77 kg) and US M size fits me well. The sleeves are a bit short but not a big deal.
