This is a heavy, sharp and very well-made knife. Note that the handle is offset to the spine of the knife. This was a little disconcerting at first, but in practice improves the balance and control of the knife in the hand. This Deba is designed for right-hand use only. While the primary use of the Deba is fish processing, I find it useful for many other cutting tasks in the kitchen. Unfortunately, the item took two months to arrive. Not the 20 days advertised.
