Came well packaged. They have internal sensor so switch on when it gets dark. Be careful, you really cannot see 940nm with the naked eye, so no faint red of the 850nm types! You have to use a (phone) camera to see them glow faint purple. Greatly enhanced the night vision of a security camera system.
