Charges my 3.6v Ni-mh torch battery. Interestingly, when charging the led is solid red (as described), but when it appears charged the led flashes green, rather than remaining solid green. I'm not sure why this is. The battery reads as charged to 3.86 volts. The led is solid green if plugged into the 240v power but not connected to the torch.
