Got what I ordered w/ very quick delivery, I'd consider 2wks in december+pandemic good? (attached pictures; CPU and CPU-Z under full 4c/8t-load) Wanted to upgrade my older 2014-model HP Z230 workstation easily & as cheaply as possible. Upgraded from E3-1226v3 (3.3GHz 4c/4t) to E3-1281v3 (3.7GHz 4c/8t) without problems. Nice upgrade w/ productivity apps, mostly around 15-20% but way more (30-40%) in some applications like file compression and video conversion. Can't say about gaming because I'm still using older nVidia GTX1060/6GB, but E3-1281v3 should be enough for gtx1070/gtx1660ti/gtx1660super-level GPU? So 30-40% more gaming performance is possible w/ E3-1281v3, but beyond that DDR3-memory is definitely a limiting factor :( CONCLUSION; 85 € with shipping was max I wanted to pay about E3-1281v3.
