The cpu is 4670 but the base speed is 3.1Ghz. You can manually overclock, without voltage changes, to 3.4Ghz but it will produce a lot of heat. I think that the cpu is likely an engeineering sample. It ran with prime95 and ffmpeg, no problems with stability. I'm using a Golden Field z100 heatsink. It has a 120mm fan and 4 heatpipes. Thermal paste used was gc extreme. At 3.1ghz stock the cpu ran at about 60c and went up to the 80c range when speed was set to 3.4ghz, using prime95 as my stress test for heat. I believe this to still be a good deal due to the low price. I was using this to upgrade an old haswell pentium g3240 build.
