My first bundle purchase. I got Version 1 of the motherboard (Version 2 doesn't use a true X99 chipset), the CPU is not a QS/ES unit and the RAM is single-rank (but is compatible). I appreciate the inclusion of PS/2 and Optical Out ports. The POST code display is useful and onboard buttons for power/reset are noteworthy. Some people mind the VRM cooling fans but I'm fine with them. The board is thick and of quality materials. The support team are friendly and helpful. The USB ports find it hard to keep power steady when a WiFi dongle is in use. Some of the temperature sensors don't work. The BIOS doesn't have options to change voltages and has limited memory timing settings. An Intel NIC would improve the value of this board compared to using Realtek.
All came in very good condition after seller testing. All works very well , memory is ok and perform very well. Great combo for very very good performances. My son will be happy in few weeks when I will be able to find a graphic card...Now it's my own RX580 4GB on it. Thanks to the seller to send it quickly after very good testing period, and to lower the declaration clearance (No duty to FRANCE). No thanks to the Belgium transit where it was blocked for 3.5 weeks... I recommend seller and the all combo itself Very very happy of my choice, seller always available for answering , very appreciated Antoine
