Asked for a 9207 and got a 9217, which is an OEM 9207. Since it is in IT mode, no harm no foul. The card actually looks brand new and is booting successfully in my Linux box. Still waiting on SAS to SATA cables to plug my drives on it. All in all it looks like a functioning unit. Also, it arrived extremely quick, which is not common when shipping to Brazil.
I ordered three 9207-8i cards. Unfortunately, while I was charged for all three, only one arrived in a package. Human error and it can ofc happen. But I really needed the cards so bad timing. The one card I got also was missing the low profile bracket. Amazon handled the dispute and after quite some time came to the conclusion to refund $119.99. Strange thing is, that doesn't even cover the two missing cards ($60x2 = $120). Close enough though. But, I also had to purchase the missing low profile bracket and that cost med $10. So all in all not the best experience. I bought the two missing cards from another source and the one card I got from here seems to function fine. The heat sink is a bit loose, probably due to a changed thermal paste from the refurb that wasn't cured? The heat sinks on my other two cards are rock solid. But temps seem to hold similar to the two new cards I bought.
